The French authorities recommend not to consume raw sprouts, after infection with E. coli bacteria in Bordeaux, according to a statement released today by the DGCCRF.

The National Safety had lavished the same recommendation in an interview Monday Figaro.fr.

It is a measure taken as a "preventive" said the statement from the Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control (DGCCRF), which states that "only the high temperature cooking can kill bacteria such as E. Coli. "
