A total of eleven people, six men and five women have died in the last week in Catalonia consecencia H1N1 influenza, as reported today by the Department of Health of the Generalitat. Of the eleven people killed, ten suffered from previous illnesses and only a 40 year old man had no other disease.

With these eleven new deaths, the number of people killed in the Catalan community due to the new flu virus rises to 31, while amounting to 69 people admitted to the ICU in serious condition.
