スウェーデンでは、先週の45週の11/08ー11/14の4人の患者に比べると、46週11/15ー11/21には、風邪症状で10人の患者が医者にかかったと報告された。4人の風邪症状の患者は、UPPSALAからの報告で、あとの患者は、スウェーデンのSTOCKHOLM、VARMLAND、 VASTRA GOTALANDからの報告である。KAROLINSKA病院で、1件のインフルエンザA型検査確認患者がでた。全国からの見張り番監視体制の23件の検査では、すべて インフルエンザ陰性反応がでた。風邪流行期が始まった40週10/04ー10/10から、いままでの11/21までに。全部で7件のインフルエンザ患者が報告されて、そのうち、3件は、インフルエンザA型で、4件は インフルエンザB型である。

Ten patients with flu symptoms (ILS) has been recorded in sentinel surveillance in week 46 compared with four complaints in the previous week.  Four patients with ILS have been reported from Uppsala, while the rest is made up of individual patients from Sweden, Stockholm, Värmland and Västra Götaland.  In the laboratory reporting the willing have an influenza-A diagnosis has been made at the Karolinska Hospital.  23 samples from across the country have been sent to the sentinel sampling but also this week have all been negative for influenza.
. Since the start of the season in week 40, a total of seven flu diagnoses reported, three influenza A and four influenza B.

Influenza in the world 

. Although influenza activity has remained low in the European region as a slight increase in the number of patients with clinical respiratory symptoms reported from six countries, including Norway, Ireland, Czech Republic and Austria, according EuroFlu's report for week 45.

  To the WHO Global Influenza Surveillance Network (FluNet) have influenza data reported from 43 countries during the same period. According to the latest influenza report from FluNet have local outbreaks of pandemic influenza A (H1N1) in 2009 reported from South Africa and Namibia, after the normal flu season.  Among other things, several Namibian schools experienced outbreaks during the month of October.  The pandemic flu was taking place in Southeast Asia, particularly in Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia and Sri Lanka but there was decreasing trend in the reporting period.
  Influenza A (H3N2) viruses have otherwise been the predominant influenza type in the world, but many countries have influenza type B circulated in parallel.  From Argentina and Chile there have been reports of local outbreaks of seasonal influenza A (H3N2) late in the season or immediately after the end of the season.
  In Canada and the U.S., where the flu season has just begun, the number of ILS cases increased slightly during the reporting period, week 45.  The first laboratory results have also shown that the incidence of seasonal influenza A (H3N2) and B.
