A new type of coronavirus has been identified by the Agency for Health Protection in the UK (HPA). The pathogen has been found in an 48-year catarí was transferred to the UK on 11 September.
Coronaviruses became famous in 2003 when they created the outbreak of SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) that shook Southeast Asia and reached Canada.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has determined that this new variant has caused the death of a Saudi respiratory complications. The catarí, which had previously been in Arabia, also suffers respiratory syndrome with renal failure.

International agencies are waiting for the developments. Coronaviruses are well known, not least because they cause the common cold. So the existence of two severe cases is not enough to issue an alarm. In fact, WHO has recommended that restrictions on travel and merely states that it is in the process of getting more information before determining the risk they may pose to health.
The British HPA goes further, and says that in the last three months there have been several cases of respiratory problems in the Middle East, although not confirmed to be related. One of them, who died, came to be treated also in the UK.
Instead, within the reassuring messages, notes that there has been no infections in people close to the infected or health personnel, while indicating that it may be because they had passed the incubation period. The British agency indicates that infection manifested by fever, cough and respiratory problems, but you do not know your real expansion since one possibility is that most affected, even if they had mild symptoms.
