The woman in the photo, 13 weeks pregnant, was the first vaccine yesterday at the health center Espronceda in Ríos Rosas. The Ministry of Health yesterday began vaccinating pregnant women for influenza A, a week after the start of the campaign for other risk groups, reports Ellen Sevillano. According to counsel, 70,027 people have been vaccinated so far. Immunization of pregnant women has been slower because the vaccine does not take adjuvant (a substance that enhances the immune response) as a precaution. Health reported that 76,000 doses available, enough to immunize the entire group.
