The Department of Sanidade in Galcia in Spain has expanded this year the group at risk for flu vaccine to those over 60 years (minimum age was so far in 65). These citizens are in addition those with chronic diseases, providing public services, which are placed in closed institutions (prisons, nursing homes or hospitals) and health personnel. Sergas has purchased 610,000 doses, with a budget of 3.7 million euros. The vaccination campaign will begin on September 27 and end on 12 November.
