The CNT union denounced yesterday the dismissal of 107 workers from the Emergency Medical Service (EMS) in Catalonia, coinciding with the completion of the information campaign about the flu prompted the Government last October. Employees working for the telemarketing company Atento Telefónica group belonging to the Generalitat and subcontracts part of the directory services of SEM.

Atento Company sources say that these workers were hired to take calls about the flu virus, which the CNT union refuses: "None of the dismissed workers was hired specifically for the information campaign of influenza A and played a specific role in this ".
The dismissal of workers became effective on April 7 and the union has announced it will ask its nullity "by legal means or association."
